This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday—Thursday. This means you might find yourself heading straight for your ‘galentines’ plan or hot date, right after work, leaving little or no time, to work on your hair!
Don’t worry you’re not alone in this struggle, we’ve got you covered with four easy and fuss-free hairstyles that can impress in the boardroom as well as the dining room, taking you from day-to-night effortlessly.

A classic style that complements any occasion and outfit. And it’s so simple to create!

STEP 1 : Back-comb your hair in the crown area of your head, so it looks fuller. Then, smoothen the top layer with a brush.

STEP 2 : Gather your hair into a low ponytail and secure with a hair tie. Pull out a few pieces of hair in the front to frame your face.

STEP 3 : Gently twist your hair from the nape of your neck to the ends, and then begin to coil it around clockwise at the base of your ponytail to create a bun.

STEP 4 : Use bobby pins to secure the bun from each angle; roughly four pins should do the trick. For additional volume, you can gently pull and loosen the edges of your bun to make it a bit wider.

STEP 5 : Apply hairspray to set your look.

Pull-Through Braid

STEP 1 : DON’T FLIP THE PAGE! This is a very easy style, we promise. Trust us, if you can tie a ponytail, you can create this look.

STEP 2 : With the help of a tail comb, create a trianglular section from the corners of your forehead to the crown. Tie it into a half-ponytail, secure with a hair tie.

STEP 3 : Loosely clip the first ponytail up, so it is out of the way. And tie a second ponytail right below the first.

STEP 4 : Now unclip the first ponytail, and divide it into two equal sections. Bring the second ponytail up through the split, and clip it out of the way. And then tie a third ponytail right under the second ponytail, by incorporating ends from the first ponytail.

STEP 5 : Keep repeating step 3 of creating ponytails, until you reach the nape of your neck.

STEP 6 : At the nape, tie your final ponytail with the remaininghair. Secure with a hair tie.

STEP 7 : Now, release the last ponytail (from step 4); and tie a hair tie two inches lower than the previous hair tie.

STEP 8 : Use your fingers to split the sections of hair (from step 6), and pull the ponytail at the nape (step 5), through the opening so it becomes the top ponytail. Repeat process till you reach the ends.

STEP 9 : Hooray we’re done! Tug gently on your braid to make it wider and slightly messy!

Braided Headband

STEP 1 : Why wear a headband, when you can create it! Pro Tip: You can straighten your hair before you begin this hairstyle, or wear it naturally.

STEP 2 : Create a side parting and take one-two inch section of hair from the front, right by the ear.

STEP 3 : Now, braid the hair into a three-strand braid tightly.

STEP 4 : Once done, lift the braid and sit it over the top of your head, like a headband. Secure with bobby pins.

Ballerina Bun

Are you thinking why another bun? Because, this is not an ordinary bun. During the day, your hair looks office ready, but as soon as the clock strikes 6 p.m., undo your bun to get gorgeous voluminous curls. With a tail comb, make a middle parting and you’re ready to woo the night away!

STEP 1 : Pull your hair into a high ponytail, and secure with a hair tie.

STEP 2 : It’s time to start twisting your hair gently, and wrapping it around the base of your ponytail to create a bun -clockwise or anticlockwise.

STEP 3 : Secure the bun with bobby pins, to give it a seamless finish. Add a cute hair accessory if you wish.

STEP 4 : In the evening, you can open up the bun to reveal curls and set them in place with a hairspray.
