Pop culture’s most famous faces descended at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the fashion industry’s party of the year. Even though it was postponed this year, it was just as fabulous as ever before. The event was held at its usual location: the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with the theme, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”. Who was on the guest list? The guests included co-chairs Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka and other Hollywood A-listers. The night saw both obvious and subtle nods to American fashion, culture and history, with celebrities sashaying down the red-carpet, showcasing stunning and stellar outfits, making it a night to remember.
As usual, there were some viral moments like Pete Davidson in an epic slip dress by Thom Browne and Kim Kardashian covered in a black Balenciaga gown and matching mask. Rihanna showed up at the last minute and closed the red carpet with a stunning final surprise which did not disappoint and raised the expectations higher than ever before!
