As the seasons change, so do your skin’s needs. With the winter chills slowly disappearing, it’s time to upgrade the vanity—take a look at all the new products that have found their way into my kit to get me in the mood for spring! Restock, hit refresh and gear up for a brand new season!

Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter by Maybelline New York
While we’re always up for gold highlighters for that warm finish, Maybelline’s new Holographic Prismatic Highlighter in Purple and Opal shades have recently caught my eye. For those who don’t shy away from experimenting with their look, these highlighters give you an iridescent, holographic sheen that accentuates and brightens your face. The product gives you a beautiful pearlescent finish, which is great if you love that ‘lit’ highlight look.

This little vial of Rose Gold Oil from The Beauty Co. delivers numerous skin benefits—from brightening to hydrating and nourishing. Unlike a lot of other face oils, this one is lightweight, doesn’t clog the pores and hence is safe to use for acne-prone skin such as mine. With regular use, this oil has also reduced the appearance of acne scars on the skin, which gives it a big thumbs up from me.

I seldom used body scrubs on a regular basis. The rule is now changing for me ever since I got my hands on this wonder product by Neemli Naturals. Made with organic coffee and a blend of nourishing essential oils, this body scrub gently cleanses the skin. It has firming and cellulite-fighting properties which can be noticed in as early as the first couple of uses. Using this for just two weeks has given me softer, even-toned and smoother skin. and so I strongly recommend that you give this one a go!

tried and tested
HENA DESAI tells you all about the new beauty products that have made it to her list of favourites this month.

This fragrance from the house of Kenzo embodies the spirit of spring. No surprises for guessing, this is a floral scent through and through—it opens with Bulgarian rose notes, topped with violets, coupled with vanilla and white musks. The powdery scent is longlasting, even in warm weather. The contemporary feel is not limited to the smell; the sleek design and shape of the bottle is also very modern, clean and light just like the fragrance itself.

Gentle, natural and handmade bathing bars are my new favourite indugences. The one that stood out the most was the Lavender & Green Tea Bathing Bar from One Life. Loaded with shea butter and essential oils, these soaps don’t strip your skin’s moisture; instead, they leave you with soft and supple skin. This variant contains the soothing properties of lavender, which works to calm the body and mind after each shower to give you a complete sensorial experience.

If you believe face scrubs are too harsh for the skin, think again! MCaffeine’s Naked & Raw Coffee Face Scrub is a boon for skin types that are in need for exfoliation (trust the word of someone who runs away from harsh and drying products!). The product is a part of MCaffeine’s Naked & Raw range which contains the Face Scrub, Face Wash and Body Scrub, and is made of Pure Arabica Coffee, vitamin E, and various nourishing oils which gently exfoliate the face to reveal brighter and cleansed skin. The products are free from SLS and parabens which may irritate sensitive skin types.
