We bring you two beautiful celebrity brides who totally welcomed the idea of an intimate wedding and chose to tie the knot without the usual grand spectacle. Their bridal ensembles? Traditional and royal– but nothing over the top.

Actress Yami Gautam married Uri director Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony in the month of June in Himachal Pradesh. The actress wore her mother’s 33-year-old deep red drape sari featuring intricate gold work with floral motifs on the blouse and a matching dupatta to complete the look, Yami wore an antique regal gold choker set and maang tikka along with a traditional Himachali Nath gifted to her by her grandmother. Overall, she looked timeless and mesmerising.
Hair: Hair was done traditionally in a bun style.
Makeup: Yami stayed true to her subtle makeup done completely on her own. For the face she wore simple black kohl, light red blush on the cheeks with red lips that enhanced her beautiful features.
Interesting fact: Yami’s hair was done by her sister Surilie Gautam! We totally loved her traditional look.
